LINCOLN, Maine — A local man was being evaluated at Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln after he crashed his motorcycle on Route 6 on Sunday, police said.
Terrence Libby, 54, of Lincoln was headed toward Lee when his Suzuki slid across the road into a ditch on the southbound side of the road between Frost Street and White Point Estates Road shortly before 3:30 p.m., Officer Mark Fucile said.
Libby suffered bruises and other minor injuries to his right leg and arm in the accident, Fucile said. Fucile and state police Trooper Thomas Fiske suspect that Libby was traveling too fast for conditions.
A blood sample also was drawn from Libby and will be analyzed, Fucile said.

Bikes and bikers are enjoying the great weather we’ve been having this spring-ride safe everyone, and respect bikers…
if you drive a car or truck, this motorcycle crash is YOUR FAULT.
it does not matter the motorcycle driver was driving too fast, it is still YOUR FAULT
if you were home watching TV when the motorcycle driver crashed, it is still YOUR FAULT
HUH!!
Out of curiousity, what?
It’s a wonder there haven’t been more accidents or even deaths related to motorcycles this year… I always seem to get stuck behind the show-off who is weaves all over the place (of course with no helmet) or doing the wheelie things.
