SUMTER, S.C. – Gwendolyn A. Gaboda, 75, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012, in Sumter, S.C. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Gwendolyn W. Allan.
She attended her first year of high school at Shead High School, Eastport; and graduated from Sumner High School, Sullivan. She attended Mercy Hospital of Nursing, Portland.
Survivors are her husband, William R. Gaboda of Sumter, S.C.; three sons, Micheal Gaboda of Orlando, Fla., Mark Gaboda of Loveland, Colo., and John Gaboda and wife, Kamay, of Rutherford, N.C.; nine grandchildren; two brothers, the Right Honorable and Dr. Nelson S. Allan III and wife, Patricia, and Thomas R. Allan and wife, Lee Ann; sister, Liane Allan Grodewald and husband, John Grodewald; many nieces and nephews.
