FOSTERVILLE, New Brunswick – Donald Roy Franklin, 68, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012, at his home. He was born March 29, 1944, in Woodstock, New Brunswick, the son of the late Hollis and Amy (Gartley) Franklin.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Audrey Helen Brownrigg Franklin. He is survived by his second wife, Gail Franklin; children, Tracy Franklin and Brian Beauchamp, Janice Douglas and Jamie, and Michael Franklin and Melinda; stepsons, Craig and Jason Greenier; mother-in-law, Esther Rae; brother-in-law, Robert Greenier; and grandchildren, Hollis Franklin, Murray Franklin, Ansel Franklin and Ewan Douglas. Mention should be made of his longtime companion, Lucky.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, May 27, at The Culberson Funeral Home, 188 Connell St., Woodstock, New Brunswick. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 28, at St. James United Church, Woodstock, New Brunswick, with Pastor Stephen Brown officiating.
