ORRINGTON – Michael J. Muldoon, 73, died unexpectedly May 19, 2012, at his home. He was born March 10, 1939, in Bangor, son of William and Grace (Crossman) Muldoon.
Michael was a graduate of John Bapst High School, served two years in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1960, and was honorably discharged. He worked as a millwright for many years with Eastern Fine Paper, Brewer. He loved hunting and fishing, constantly searching for new ponds where the “big ones” would be hiding. He was a good guy, generous and always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed the plantings and wildflowers around his home and liked sharing them with others. He loved sports and was especially proud of his athletic days at John Bapst. He will be missed.
He was predeceased by his parents; six sisters, Ellen Robichaud, Gloria Adams, Janet Berry, Mary Whiting, Shirley Hebert and Joan Spellman; and one brother, Timothy Muldoon. Surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Michael requested that no formal ceremony take place. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to The Children’s Miracle Network of Tennessee. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Brewer and Bangor.
