FRENCHVILLE and FORT KENT – Sadie (Theriault) Levesque, 99, died peacefully June 6, 2012, with her daughter and granddaughter by her side at a Frenchville health care facility. She was born April 27, 1913, in Fort Kent, daughter of Denis and Josphine (Voisine) Theriault.
Several of Sadie’s favorite pastimes included knitting, sewing, cooking, working in her vegetable gardens, and picking fiddle heads, raspberries and hazelnuts. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Sadie is survived by her daughter, Barbara Pelletier of Frenchville; one sister, Mamie Theriault of Fort Kent; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a few great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Maurice, in 1992; one daughter, Frances, in 2009; one toddler son, Gilman; infant daughter, Beatrice; brother, Yvon Theriault; six sisters, Laura Conley, Daly Pelletier, Amanda Charette, Izy Thibodeau, Evelyn Theriault and Theresa Lavoie; and three sons-in-law.
Friends may call 8 a.m. until the time of service Saturday, June 9, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal service will be after at the parish cemetery.
