PRESQUE ISLE – Sherline Marie Paradis, 76 died peacefully Thursday, June 7, 2012, in the presence of family. She was born April 14, 1936, in Eagle Lake, the daughter of William and Clarina (Saucier) Saucier.

She enjoyed spending time with family, reading, cooking for others and sharing her recipes. Her greatest joy in life was her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Lionel Paradis; two sons, Lonnie Paradis and his wife, Donna, of Munson, Mass., and Dwayne Paradis and his wife, Helene, of Moncton, New Brunswick; two daughters, Kim Miller of West Enfield and Tammy Starr and her husband, Peter, of Mapleton; six brothers, Gerald and Roger Saucier, both of Caribou, Armand, Kenneth, O’Neil and Nelson Saucier, all of Presque Isle; three sisters, Rosa Michaud of Presque Isle, Marilyn Cote of Limestone and Rita Daigle of Wallagrass; eight grandchildren, Trey and Rae-Ann Miller, Erika DePree, Evan and Gerrin Paradis, Brett Starr, Katrine and Marie-Eve Michaud; four great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Hunter and Josette Miller and Ethan DePree. She was predeceased by a brother, William Saucier Jr.; an infant sister, Viola Saucier; and a grandson, Kyle Starr.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood with the Rev. Raymond Morency, celebrant. Friends may call 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of Mass at the church. A reception will be held immediately after the service at Knights of Columbus Hall.
