MACHIAS, Maine — Thunderstorms in coastal sections of Washington County knocked out power for 2,174 Bangor Hydro Electric customers Saturday evening.
Outages reported at 7:14 p.m. affected residents of Cutler, East Machias, Whiting and surrounding communities.
Power was restored by line crews by 9 p.m.
