BREWER – Elaine Charlotte (Roberts) Hall, 81, went to be with her savior, Jesus Christ, June 9, 2012. She was born Sept. 19, 1930, in Bangor, daughter of Leslie and Winifred (Keezer) Roberts.

Elaine graduated from Brewer High School, class of 1948. She always worried about her mother, father and son more then she did herself, and took care of her mother, Winnie, who lived to be 97 years old. Elaine worked as the clerk of course for her brother, Donald Roberts, who was the race secretary at tracks, including Foxboro, Mass., Atlantic City, N.J., and Jackson, Mich. She could always be seen with her mother at the harness races at the various fairs across the state, and made a weekly trip to Lewiston Raceway in the fall with her mother, Winnie and her son, Mark. Elaine attended Amazing Grace Fellowship Church, where she made many friends, including Marcus Eaton, who made strong her commitment to the Lord.

She is survived by her son, Mark W. Hall of Brewer; brother, Donald Roberts of Bradenton, Fla.; and nieces and nephews, Patti (Roberts) Rogers of Aiken, S.C., Donald Roberts Jr., John Roberts and Mark Roberts, all of Bradenton, Fla.

Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Brewer, with pastor Marcus Eaton officiating. Those who wish to remember Elaine in a special way may make gifts in her memory to Bangor Humane Society, 693 B Mount Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401. A service of Brookings-Smith, Brewer Chapel.
