MADISON, Conn. – Dana D. Doyon, 78, of Madison, Conn., passed away peacefully, June 14, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret (Reagan) Doyon.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a teacher in the Haddam-Killingworth school system for more than 35 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen and husband, Eric, of Old Saybrook, Conn.; son, Gregory and wife, Fai, of Madison, Conn.; and son, Kevin and wife, Darcie, of Ivoryton, Conn. He was the brother of Hilary Doyon of Florida, Beverly Ward of Maine, Douglas Doyon of Maine, and the late Loretta Clifford and Clifford Doyon; and grandfather of Liam, Kelsey and Conor Duncan, Reagan and Patrick “PJ” Doyon and Lyla Doyon. He was also predeceased by his son, Paul.

Family and friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 18, at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road, Madison, Conn. A Mass of Christian burial to celebrate Dana’s life will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, at St. Margaret’s Church, Madison, Conn. Interment with full military honors will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Westbrook. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Madison Lions Club.
