NEWBURGH – Norris Mark Leavitt, 92, passed away peacefully June 19, 2012, in Hampden. He was born Nov. 16, 1919, in Newburgh, son of Mark S. and Audrey (MacLaughlin) Leavitt.
Norris is survived by nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Arthur and Leon Leavitt; and sister, Christine Newcomb.
Private interment will be in the family lot at Knowlton Cemetery, Newburgh. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
