MILFORD – Paulette A. McLaughlin, 69, died peacefully July 25, 2012, with family by her side at her residence after a long illness with cancer. She was born Jan. 4, 1943, in Milford, a daughter of Hilbert and Matilda (Grant) Anderson.

She graduated from Old Town High School, class of 1962. Paulette was a member of Milford Congregational Church, where she sang in the choir and was the chairperson of Diaconate for several years. She loved the outdoors and loved visiting Bar Harbor. She loved to work with her hands and enjoyed woodworking. She enjoyed country music. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Gary of Milford; son, Herbie Badger and partner, Vicky Perkins; three very special grandchildren, Kyra, Maxwell and Kailyn; two sisters, Edna Bryant and Betty Anderson, both of Milford; two brothers, Fay Anderson and wife, Susan, of Bradley and Durwood Anderson and wife, Andrea, of Augusta; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; four sisters, Grace Cote and husband, Clarence, Annie Richards and husband, O’Neil, Phyllis Doucette and husband, Walter, and Shirley LaBree and husband, Robert; and two brothers, Hilbert Anderson Jr. and wife, Beatrice, and Clyde Anderson. The family thanks the doctors, nurses and staff at Lafette Family Cancer Center for their wonderful and compassionate care.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Milford Congregational Church. Burial will be afterward at Milford Cemetery. A luncheon will be served in the undercroft of the church after the services at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Milford Congregational Church, P.O.
