BANGOR, Maine — A noise complaint at a Bangor hotel led to the arrest of a Washington County woman early Saturday, according to police.

The noise came from one guest room where six people, including Roxanne Socobasin, 21, of Princeton were being loud and obnoxious, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said.

Socobasin, who had rented the room, had bail conditions that prohibited her from possessing or consuming alcohol, according to Edwards.

After the other five people in the room, who weren’t registered guests at the hotel, left without incident, Bangor police Officer Kim Donnell found Socobasin to be intoxicated and placed her under arrest.

She was booked into the Penobscot County Jail on a charge of violating conditions of release and later released, the sergeant said. Nobody else was charged in the incident.

  1. OTHER BREAKING NEWS!!!

    Equally as news worthy, the pumpkin I have growing in my garden is starting to turn orange.

  2. Violates one of the journalists 5 W rules: doesn’t  where (Bangor hotel insufficient)

  3. Should you have written Indian Township and not Princeton … not to get stereotypical or anything, but based on her last name, my money is she is living on the northside of the bridge and not the south.

    1. Based on her social media profile, she is indeed an “Ind Twp Rez.” Not to get stereotypical or anything…

  4. Funny;
    There are a whole bunch of white blue-eyed drunks arrested near me who never make the paper.

    I’m sure there is no prejudice involved.     (mouth covered during sly snicker)
