HERMON – Matthew J. Prewitt, 53, lost his courageous battle with cancer Oct. 15, 2013, at home with his brother where he spent his final months. Matt was born Dec. 29, 1959, in Gloster, Miss., the son of Huey and Barbara J. (Stevens) Prewitt.
Matt was a proud member of the Passamaquoddy Tribe at Indian Township and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Matt is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Carl and Deidre, Mike and Boogie, Marie, Millie, Stormy, Shane, and their respective families. He was predeceased his parents; and by a daughter, Julia.
