GRAY, Maine — Another winter storm has come and gone, leaving more than a foot of snow in its wake and even pushing the New England Patriots’ victory parade back a day.
According to the National Weather Service, the brunt of the storm was felt on the coast, with Machias and Marshfield both accumulating 19 inches of snow.
Eastport, which has had 76 inches of powder fall since Jan. 24, picked up an additional 18 inches, while Hancock also picked up 18.
Bangor, which has seen 43 inches of snow from the last three major storms, saw 13.1 inches, according to the weather service.
Rockland also picked up more than a foot of snow, with 14 inches falling, while Brunswick and Belfast each saw 11 inches, and Lewiston 10 inches.
Mainers also woke up to subzero temperatures, and wind chill advisories were expected to be lifted by the weather service by noon Tuesday.
The weather service is also watching a storm that has potential to bring more accumulating snow Thursday and into Thursday night. Light snow was expected Wednesday.
