FG pct.)

Game notes: The Black Bears will try to snap a four-game skid and develop a postseason mindset in their regular-season finale against the resurgent Wildcats. UMaine is destined for a Wednesday quarterfinal at regular-season champion Albany unless it can beat UNH and Binghamton beats UMBC. The Bears are coming off Wednesday’s tough 63-60 home loss to Hartford, but have dropped the last three games by an average of only seven points. The fourth-place Wildcats have already clinched a home quarterfinal against Hartford behind a 10-game improvement over last season, when they finished last. In league play, UNH ranks second in scoring (66.7 ppg) and FG percentage (.451), while UMaine is last in scoring defense (70.9 ppg) and has let opponents shoot 48 percent.

MAINE vs. NEW HAMPSHIRE

Time, site: Sunday, 2 p.m., Lundholm Gym, Durham, New Hampshire

Game notes: The Black Bears visit their border rivals trying to extend their winning streak to 15 games. UMaine wrapped up the No. 1 seed for the AE tournament and clinched at least a share of the regular-season title with Thursday’s 61-41 win over UMBC. The Wildcats will finish fourth and face No. 5 Hartford in the quarterfinals, which would be a potential semifinal matchup if UMaine can advance against either Binghamton or Vermont. UNH had won five in a row before facing the Bears the first time and have since lost six of eight, including last Saturday’s 70-65 decision at UMass Lowell. UMaine, ranked 16th in the latest Mid-Major poll, has afforded opponents only 49.5 ppg and has held 17 straight opponents under 60 points and eight of the last 11 under 50.
