BANGOR, Maine — Drew Dorr gave up two hits while striking out 10 and walking three in an 18-0 Little League all-star baseball victory in four innings over Houlton in District 3 tourney action Tuesday.
Bryce Lausier sparked Bangor West with three singles and two RBIs. Dorr helped his cause with a home run, double and three RBIs. Rhett McDonald chipped in with two singles and two RBIs while Connor Robbins added two singles.
Jeremiah Ireland and Austin Winslow each singled for Houlton.

Lincoln 6, Orono 5
At Orono, Alex Tash struck out seven to help Lincoln edge Orono/Veazie/Glenburn in District 3 all-star action.
Seth Richardson notched a double for Lincoln.
Cam Shorette recorded three hits for OVG while Conner Glowa and Dana Crocker each had one.
D1, 9-10 all-stars
At Machias on Monday, Machias rallied for 10 runs in the sixth inning to earn the victor in the Little League all-star game for District 1.
Ayden Wannemacher sparked Machias with a double and two singles. Drew Abelon chipped in with a double and Kason Fergerson singled. Ethan Libby and Fergerson held the Acadians of Bar Harbor to one hit.
Quentin Pileggi gave up just one hit and struck out 12 in five innings of work for the Acadians. He also singled.

Ellsworth 13, Acadian 9
At Bar Harbor on Monday, Ellsworth used some assertive baserunning and strong defense to beat the Acadians in the Little League all-star game for District 1.
It was the tourney opener for both teams and they will meet again on Wednesday in Ellsworth.
Sara Shea notched two hits and scored two runs for Ellsworth while Rachelle Swanson recorded a triple and three RBIs for Acadian.
Winning pitcher Brenna Patten struck out nine.

Coffee News 15, Motor City 3
At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor Tuesday night, James Prescott pitched seven shutout innings and the Coffee News Comrades pounded out 19 hits in the win over Motor City of Bangor.
Prescott allowed only four hits while striking out seven.
Sam Huston hit two home runs and had five RBIs to lead the Coffee News attack. Trevor DeLaite had four hits and two RBIs while Andrew Hillier, Peter Kemble and Jake Ireland all contributed three hits and two RBIs. Ben Crichton pitched in with two hits.
For Motor City, Sam Southwick and Tommy Burns had RBI doubles and Cody Collins recorded two singles.
Coffee News 6, Acadians 1
At Blue Hill on Monday, Coffee News of Bangor’s Peter Kemble pitched a complete game one-hitter, allowing only a triple to the Acadians’ Nick Bagley, to earn the victory.
Kemble threw just 60 pitches, with seven strikeouts.
Coffee News’ Sam Houston and Ben Chrichton each had two singles while Kyle Stevenson and Kemble each had a single.
Acadians pitcher Will Ricker pitched well in defeat, going 4 2/3 innings and giving up three runs, none earned, as the Acadians made five errors on the day.
Acadians 13, Waldo 3
At Belfast on Friday, Tom Paola pitched five strong innings, giving up one earned run on five hits while striking out five and walking one to earn his first victory of the season.
The Acadians started fast with five first-inning runs and then scored in each inning.
Joe Archambault, Seth Young and Dakota Chipman each had two singles to lead the Acadians. Anthony Bianco had a double and Conor Maguire and Hank Vinal each singled.
Andrew Canning, Andrew Flagg and Drew Stanley each had two hits for Waldo Steamboat and Emery Dinsmore had a single.
