BREWER, Maine — City police are seeking a local man who has multiple warrants for his arrest, according to a post on Brewer police’s Facebook page.
Jarrod Williams, 40, has active warrants for terrorizing, disorderly conduct and violating his bail, the post read.
Williams’ most recent brush with Brewer law enforcement came last month when officers used a Taser on him in an incident in the parking lot of the police station.
In that incident, a group of people were attempting to file a complaint against Williams, and he grew uncooperative when he was repeatedly asked to leave the area of the station. Police deployed a Taser on him after he got into his vehicle and tried to drive off.
Last summer, Williams was arrested by Bangor police after berating umpires during a Little League softball game he was coaching. He had been ejected from the game by umpires and refused to leave, repeatedly yelling and swearing.
Williams was charged with disorderly conduct in that incident.
Anyone with information on Williams or his whereabouts should call Brewer police at 989-7001.
