KNOX, Maine — A Unity woman died Wednesday afternoon when her car collided with a pickup truck on Route 137, state police said.
Shannon Kennedy, 30, apparently crossed the centerline and collided with a truck driven by Charles Fitzpatrick, 63, of Troy, Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said.
Fitzpatrick was treated at the scene for minor injuries while Kennedy was declared dead at the scene, McCausland said.
The crash was reported around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, McCausland said.
The crash remains under investigation.
