HANCOCK — The Union Congregational Church of Hancock will hold its annual Community Yard Sale, Church Fair and Silent Auction on Saturday Aug. 1 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine. The church is located at 1368 Route 1.
Books, puzzles, quality knick-knacks, glassware, jewelry, plants and gardening equipment, and a huge array of furniture, small appliances, tools, household goods and kitchenware will be sold at bargain prices. The silent auction will offer gift certificates, artwork, antiques and unique one-of-a-kind items. There will be something of interest for everyone. Coffee, home-made donuts, baked goods and lunch food, including crab rolls and classic Maine red hot dogs, will be available for purchase.
This is a family friendly event and everyone is invited to participate. Children’s games and craft activities and free face painting will be available.
