State and local law enforcement officials arrested two Waterville residents on Thursday in connection with an alleged drug trafficking operation.
The arrests followed a month-long investigation, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency said.
On Thursday, MDEA agents, with help from the Maine State Police Tactical Team, Waterville Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms executed a search warrant at 15 Western Ave. in Waterville.
Police found two guns, 15 grams of cocaine HCL and 14 grams of cocaine base, the MDEA said. The agency estimated the sale value of the cocaine at $2,900.
Grace Brown, 28, of Waterville, was arrested and charged with trafficking Schedule “W” drugs.
Davyn Flynn, 20, of Waterville, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and violation of probation.
Both are being held at the Kennebec County Correctional Facility. Brown’s bail was set at $2,000. Flynn is being held without bail.
The MDEA said it expects to make additional arrests.
