BANGOR and TUCSON, Ariz. – Ann Horsman Field, born Feb. 1, 1934, passed away peacefully July 23, 2007. Ann will always be remembered for her beauty, grace and unfailing optimism. Her gentle, curious nature and zest for living enriched the lives of those around her and led her and her husband to enjoy many adventures together. Her intelligence and compassion were present throughout her life. Ann’s invincible spirit will be greatly missed by her husband of 54 years, Richard Field; two sisters, Jean Wade and Emily Seaman; four children, J. Thomas Field, Douglas Field and his wife, Rose, Martha Rayder and her husband, Michael, and Sarah Roach and her husband, Donald; eight grandchildren, Eric and Magalloway Field, Benjamin, Brooke, Cameron and Nicholas Rayder and Kristopher and Jessica Roach; cousin, Bernice LaPorte; and longtime friend, Ann Leipman Torrey.
