CHERRYFIELD – Barbara Seavey Parker, 77, died unexpectedly Jan. 25, 2008. She was born Aug. 19, 1930, the daughter of the late Howard and Viola (Tibbetts) Seavey. She was predeceased by her husband, George W. Parker; and son, Charles L. Parker. She is survived by son, Donald H. Parker and wife, Lucille, of Machiasport; son, Dana L. Parker of East Machias; daughter, Cindy V. Groder and husband, Chip, of Derry, N.H.; daughter, Angel Wescott and husband, Joey, of Gouldsboro; a special daughter-in-law, Della (Carter) Parker of Harrington and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be announced in the spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara’s memory may be made to Ark Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 276, Cherryfield, ME 04622. Arrangements are under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
