MADAWASKA – Berthrande Fongemie, 81, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born April 20, 1926, the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Jalbert) Daigle. She is survived by three children, Conrad and his wife, Pat Fongemie, of Connecticut, Joan Fongemie of Connecticut and Gerry Ann and her husband, Rejean Theriault, of Quebec; six grandchildren, Kathy, Susan, Mark, Tina, Dean and Marie Christine; seven great-grandchildren; one bro-ther, Reno Daigle; two sisters, Therese Sartan and Agnes Beaulieu; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Friends and family may call 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday at Daigle Funeral Home. Burial will be in the spring at the parish cemetery.
