NEW LIMERICK – Charles F. Russell, 61, died Dec. 12, 2006, in Houlton. He was born March 26, 1945, in Houlton, the son of Charles W. and Nina (Upham) Russell. Charlie enjoyed fishing and hunting. Besides his mother of New Limerick, he is survived by his wife of 19 years, Joyce (Grant) Russell of New Limerick; two children, Stephen Scott of New Limerick and Charles Lorom of Littleton; eight grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters, Mae Brisk of Quebec, Canada, Gary Russell of Houlton, David Russell of Meridian, Conn., Dale R. Russell of New Limerick, Char-lene Mailman of West Enfield, Jeff Silver of California, Carol Logue of Houlton, Theresa Grant of Linneus; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father; and one sister, Linda. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating.
