MATTAWAMKEAG – Reta Carmichael, 92, wife of the late Eldon Carmichael, died Dec. 12, 2006, at a Houlton health care facility. She was born May 13, 1914, in Ludlow, the daughter of William and Gertrude (Smith) Crane. Reta was a member of Zion Pentecostal Church. She is survived by a daughter, Lois Flewelling and her husband, Charlie, of Littleton; five grandchildren, Robert Flewelling, Shelley Bouvier, Kimberley Lopez, Mark Flewelling and Heather Way; 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Darrell Crane and his wife, Opal, of Linneus. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Stephen Izzo officiating. Interment will be in Mattawamkeag Cemetery.
