DEXTER – Crystal A. Philbrick, 85, went home to be with the Lord, Dec. 10, 2007. She was born March 10, 1922, in Guilford, daughter of George and Annie (Knight) Cookson. On March 16, 1941, she married Roscoe Philbrick, who predeceased her in 1984, after 43 years of marriage. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn McNally of Guilford; a son, Alfred Philbrick and his wife, Floy, of Kentucky; two sisters, Flora Smart of Dover-Foxcroft, and Rachel Gilbert and her husband, Marshall, of Guilford; two brothers, Everett Cookson and his wife, Pat, of Connecticut, and Altson Cookson and his wife, Helene, of Cambridge; nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Wilbur and Lloyd; three sisters, Rosalie, Alva and Edna; and a great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak St., Guilford, with the Rev. Lyman Curtis officiating. Friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
