PERHAM – Dana B. Griffin 75, died April 28, 2005, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born Oct. 24, 1929, in Washburn, the son of Thomas and Ruth (Shaw) Griffin. Dana was a member of Christian Life Assembly in Presque Isle. He had been employed at Tater State and later McCain’s Foods in Washburn for more than 30 years. Dana was a past member of the Washburn Odd Fellows. He is survived by his son, Kip Griffin of Perham; daughters, Teresa Nichols of Hermon, and Brenda Baker of Michigan; grandchildren, Brent Beaulieu II, Todd Nichols, Craig Nichols, Joshua Griffin, Dustin Griffin and Kalle Griffin; a brother, Paul Griffin of Massachusetts; a sister, Winona Forsberg of Massachusetts, Ramona Sirum of Florida; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Thelma (Saucier) Griffin; brothers, Stacey, Thomas, Richard, and Rodney Griffin; and sisters, Phyllis and Geraldine. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, with Pastor David MacIntyre, officiating. Interment will be held at the Fairview Cemetery in Perham at a later date.
