DONNA LEE (AMERO) NASON OLD TOWN – Donna Lee (Amero) Nason, 63, passed away peacefully Jan. 23, 2008, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 18, 1944, in Bangor, the daughter of Blanchard and MaryEllen Amero. Donna was a homemaker for many years before going to work with her brother, Gary, at Jake’s Pizza. She worked at the Bangor Airport Food Service, where she retired in November 2005. After her retirement, Donna enjoyed her time refinishing furniture and spending time with her family. Donna was predeceased by her parents; and husband of 30 years, Dennis K. Nason, Oct. 20, 1992. Donna will be sadly missed by her son, Randy Nason and wife, Tracey; daughter, Sherri Parent and husband, Michael; daughter, Shelly Rhodes and husband, Chad; son, Robbie Nason and wife, Kelly; grandchildren, Carey Jo Lindberg and husband, Erik, Nicholas Nason and wife, Samantha, Jakob Larson, Bethany Nason, Karisa Larson, Tyler Tibbetts, Dustin and Emily Nason, Tara Washburn, Michael O’Clair and girlfriend, Jennifer Drouin, Marisa O’Clair, Alisha Parent, Sonny Sztroin and wife, Hope, Myranda LaBree and Libby Nason; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brianna Lindberg, Carter O’Clair, Dakota Washburn, Joshua and Xavier Garcia; brothers, Arnold Amero and wife, Becky, Al Amero and wife, Carol, Gary Amero and wife, Cheryl; sisters, Lois Noyes, Jean Hanson and husband, Harold, Norma Trask and husband, Albert, and Kay Thurston. She will also be missed by special family friends, Marylyn O’Clair, Gary Hachey and Ruthie Campbell, along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, with a time of sharing Donna’s memories at 6 p.m. by family and friends.
