BANGOR and NASHUA, N.H. – Doris Pauline Rolfe, 79, of Bangor, formerly of Hudson, died Jan. 25, 2006, at a Nashua, N.H. hospital. She was born Aug. 31, 1926, in Bangor, the daughter of Urban W. and Mildred. M. (Martinson) Clewley. Doris was a member of the Glenburn Senior Citizens. Surviving are her children, James L. Rolfe and his wife, Rosemary, of Hermon, Stanley G. Rolfe of Veazie, Jean A. Lyshon and her husband, Ron, of Bangor, Deloris Harriman and her husband, Merrill, of Hudson, N.H.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one half brother, Walter Clewley of Corinth; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold E. Rolfe; a son, Harold L. Rolfe; two brothers, Stanley E. Clewley and Robert Clewley; and a half sister, Mildred Winn. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, with the Rev. Robert Treadwell, officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
