SOUTHWEST HARBOR – George Albert Faulkingham, 49, died Nov. 23, 2004, in Southwest Harbor. He was born Oct. 17, 1955, in Bar Harbor, the son of Paul Hanson and June (Woodward) Faulkingham. George was good at his job of building and repairing fiberglass boats at Bowden Marine in Bar Harbor. He loved music and enjoyed playing his bass guitar in bands throughout his life. George was also a great artist and he loved whales and other animals of the ocean. He is survived by his mother, one son, Michael Faulkingham of Manset; one daughter, Reagan Faulkingham; one brother, David Faulkingham, both of Southwest Harbor; one sister, Joan Rutledge of Kittery and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call 9-10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home, 1139 Main St., Mt. Desert, where funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Jonesport.
