HERMON – Geraldine “Deanie” E. Holland, 67, died Nov. 13, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Nov. 17, 1937, in Cherryfield, the daughter of George and Mad-eline (Harrington) Newenham. Deanie enjoyed her Sunday drives with Alvin, and loved spending time with family and friends especially with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Alvin Holland, of Hermon; one son, Randy Galen, of Veazie; two daughters, Lisa and her husband, Mark Tucker, of Denham Springs, La. and Renea and her husband, Shayne Doughty, of Warren; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Katie, Derek, Kasey, Kelsey, Gabrielle and Douglas Jr.; two stepsons, Larry Holland and his wife, Karla, of Hermon and Douglas Holland and his wife, Tina, of Hermon; one brother, Harold Newenham and his wife, Mia, of Biddeford; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A service of remembrance will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Robert T. Carlson, chaplain of Husson College, officiating.
