LINCOLN – Harrison T. Boyington, 82, husband of the late Monica (Michaud) Boy-ington, died Oct. 13, 2003, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born in Orono, Feb. 27, 1921, the son of Claude and Nettie (Ogden) Boyington. After attending school, he entered the U.S. Armed Forces, where he spent three years, one month and 18 days as a veteran of World War II, spending two years in the South Pacific. During his working years, he worked in the woods, worked as an auto mechanic, was a school bus driver, and loved his snow-sled repair business, at which he worked until his retirement, due to ill health. He loved hunting and fishing and did salt water fishing for 20 years. He is survived by a son, Joseph and his wife, Leanne, of Florida; a step-daughter, Nancy and her husband, Raymond, of Winn; a grandson, Justin; two step-grandchildren, Wendy and Michael; a sister, Ila Arthurs; and a brother, Kenwood, both of Lincoln; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Monica, he was predeceased by two babies; two brothers, Fred of Fryeburg, and Jacob of Tennessee.
