BAR HARBOR – Inez Lela Walls, 89, wife of the late Harold Walls, died March 5, 2007, in Bar Harbor. She was born April 4, 1917, in New Harbour, Nova Scotia, the daughter of Everett and Octavia Gillie. Inez was a loving mother and housewife, who devoted her life to her family. Her life was characterized by unselfishness, kindness and generosity that can’t adequately be described in a few words, but will forever be remembered and appreciated by those whose lives she touched. She is survived by three sons, Nelson Walls and wife, Sheila, of Livermore, Robert Walls and wife, Aimee, of Bar Harbor and Donald Walls and wife, Carol, of Somesville; two daughters, Lois Stanley and husband, Robert, of Bar Harbor and Beverly Wilkinson and husband, David, of South Gouldsboro; one sister, Vera Soukup of Southwest Harbor; grandchildren, Carrie Gervais, Theodore Walls, Lori Domagala, Bradley Wilkinson, Sarah Wilkinson, Amanda Corson, Bryant and Timothy Walls, Marian Dorr, Melissa and Travis Walls and seven great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to call 9-10 a.m. Friday, March 9, at Jordan-Fernald, 48 Eden St., Bar Harbor, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Spring interment will be at Otter Creek Cemetery.
