RAYMOND – James L. “Jamie” Tarr, 42, of North Main Street, Mechanic Falls, died unexpectedly Dec. 2, 2005. Jamie was born Sept. 25, 1963, in Lewiston, the son of David and Sondra (Leonard) Tarr. He graduated from Edward Little High School in 1981 and later attended the University of Southern Maine. Jamie was a self-employed contractor. He was a fierce competitor, had a heart-melting smile and loved politics. Jamie enjoyed playing with his niece and nephews, and, most of all, treasured time spent with his daughter, Taylor. He was a wonderful father, brother, uncle and son and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves his daughter, Taylor Tarr, along with her mother, Kelley Tarr, both of Auburn; his parents, David and Sondra Tarr of Mechanic Falls; one sister, Mary Bilodeau and her husband, Michael, of Brewer; one brother, John Tarr and his wife, Dori-Anne, of New Gloucester; also, his niece, Julie Bilodeau; and nephews, Sam Bilodeau, Nicholas, Adam and Christopher Tarr; and his very special “girls” (dogs), Chloe and Dazy. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fortin Funeral Group, 217 Turner St., Auburn. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
