GREENBUSH – Jessica Marie Sockbeson died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at her home. A loving mother of two children, Chuck “Magoo” Macgregor III of Greenbush and Cynthia “Cindy” Lennon of Portland. Jessica’s passion for life amazed us all, the strongest person we ever knew. She is survived by two grandchildren, Nellie and Norah, that she loved the most. She loved all animals of all shapes and sizes. For the past 20 years Jessica groomed cats and dogs and was the owner-operator of Groom N’ Board, Bangor for 18 years. She was a proud member of the Penobscot Nation, where the native traditions and the people ran through her heart. Jessica was a very talented lady who loved her gardens, creating magic by beading and she enjoyed her crafts. Her other passions were fiddleheading with her cousin, Cynthia Taylor and fishing at Moosehead. Her talents didn’t stop there. She was fortunate to receive her Dad’s passion and ability to build and construct. Her latest masterpiece was her home in Greenbush. Her family meant everything to her and Christmas was her favorite time of year. She was always there when people needed her.
