LOIS GOODELL CARMEL – Lois Goodell, 77, left this world with her angel, to be with her sister and father, Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008. She passed away surrounded by her loving family and her cat, Patches, at her home. She was born Oct. 9, 1930, in Lynn, Mass. Lois will be remembered by her family and friends for her strong will, glowing smile and dedication to her family. She had the ability to quickly embrace people into her heart, and was known to all that loved her as mom or gram. Her love for chatting, gardening, bird watching, crocheting and traveling have been some of the things that have brought great joy to her life and those around her. Above all, Lois’ family was the pride and highlight of her life. She enjoyed every moment spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. Lois dedicated her life to caring for her children, inspiring them to be good people and wonderful parents. Lois will be fondly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Linda Enderwick; her son, David Enderwick and Bev Flaherty; her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Alan Ashley; her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Aaron Stuart; her seven wonderful grandsons, Jared Ashley and his wife, Sarah, Jason Ashley and Megan Lena, Ryan Moody and Samantha Correia, Adam Enderwick, Luke Enderwick, Ian Stuart and Jacob Stuart; her great-grand-daughter, Riley Enderwick; her two sisters, Susan Alukonis and her husband, Michael, and Frances Mura; and numerous extended family members. The family thanks Danielle, Diana, Cindy, Kathy, Reverend Gant and Dr. Lamhart with Beacon Hospice for their endless kindness and support. A service and celebration of life party will take place 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at Blackbeard’s, Bangor.
