LOURDES ‘LOLLY’ WESCOTT VERONA ISLAND – Lourdes Justine Wescott, 58, died May 28, 2004, surrounded by her loving family, at a Bangor Hospital. She was born May 25, 1946, in Bangor, the daughter of Sixto and Irene (Lizzotte) Arasate. She graduated from Bangor High School with the class of 1965. She worked 19 years at the Sail-Inn Restaurant in Prospect, and was currently working at the Fort View Variety on Verona Island. Lolly loved to go to yard sales with her mother and daughter, Lisa. She enjoyed caring for her dog Gizmo, gardening and doing crafts. Lolly loved to laugh, have a good time and always had a big smile for everyone. She is survived by her beloved mother, Irene Arasate of Bangor; her devoted husband, Robert C. Wescott of Verona Island; five very special children, Lisa Varnum and husband, Tim, of Verona Island, her twins, Eric Moran and wife, Wendy, of Verona Island, Derek Moran and friend, Steve Martin, of Augusta, Dicky Moran and wife, Andrea, of Bucksport, and Robert C Wescott Jr. of Verona Island; special brother, Lou Arasate of Chicopee, Mass.; and special sister, Sharon Liberty and husband, Art, of Bangor; a half brother, Fran Doucette and his wife, Jan, of Old Town; five dear grandchildren, Timmy and Tommy Varnum, Whitney and Brittney Moran and Robbie McGuire; mother-in-law, Caroline Arace and husband, Tony, of Las Vegas, Nev.; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her loving father, Sixto Arasate and her father-in-law, William E Wescott. Lolly was loved and admired by her many friends and coworkers. The family would like to give a special thanks to Monica in ICU at EMMC. Visitation for family and friends will be held 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St, Bucksport, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Father Thomas Franksman officiating. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Bucksport.
