HAMPTON, Va. and ELLSWORTH – Marguerite Persis Hamor, 78, died Dec. 8, 2006, in Hampton, Va. She was born Oct. 26, 1928, in Gouldsboro, the daughter of Walter and Laura (Young) Walker. Calling hours will be held 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the Lamoine Baptist Church with the Rev. David Henry officiating.
