FORT KENT – Mona I. Meng, 47, died Dec. 4, 2005, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born Oct. 22, 1958, in Perth Andover, N.B., the daughter of Enoil and Edwina (Michaud) Bouchard. She is survived by three children, Christina Meng, Raymond Meng of Fort Kent and Alisa Meng of Kingston, R.I.; her companion of many years, Robert McNamee of Fort Kent; nine brothers and sisters, Philip Bouchard of Baker Lac, N.B., Harley Bouchard of New Britain, Conn., Murillo Bouchard of Fort Kent, Hilda Ouellette of St. John, Irene Bonenfant of Briston, Conn., Diana Bouchard of Madawaska, Shirley Bonenfant of St. Francis, N.B., Enoil Bouchard Jr. of Bristol, Conn. and Daniel Bouchard of Bristol, Conn.; one grandson, many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. In addition to both parents, she was predeceased by one brother. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent and 7 a.m. Friday at the funeral home until time of departure for Soldier Pond. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, in Soldier Pond with the Rev. James Nadeau officiating. Spring burial will be held May 11, 2006 in the parish cemetery.
