BAILEYVILLE – Perley G. Wormell, “PG”, 72, died July 3, 2005, with his family at his bedside. He was born Sept. 20, 1932, in Lynn, Mass., son of the late Perley H. Wormell and Doris Burdett. PG worked for Georgia Pacific for over 38 years as an engineer. He was a member of the Spednic Club and the St. Croix Country Club. PG was an avid collector of coins and stamps. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and spending time with is family. He was predeceased by his wife, Anne; and his son, Chris. Surviving are his sons, Paul and wife, Terri, of Baileyville, Peter and wife, Patti, of Manchester, Scott and wife, Tina, of Codyville; a daughter, Susan MacArthur of Baileyville; one brother, Bryan of Long Beach, Calif.; nine grandchildren, Kacie and Sean MacArthur, Tiffany and Todd Wormell, Josh Thornton, Zachary, Abby and Micah Wormell, and Keegan Wormell; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
