TRESCOTT – Raymond M. Jones, 53, passed away unexpectedly July 7, 2006, at D.E.C.H. He was the son of the late Francis and Catherine “Laslie” Jones. Raymond served in the U.S. Army, he loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was especially proud of his trout pond. He is survived by his wife, Nanette; three sons, Matthew Jones of Chicago, Chris and Kevin Jones, of South Carolina; two daughters, Candice and Brenda Jones, also from South Carolina; one sister, Carolyn Leighton of Surry; two stepsons, Paul Warren Jr. of Lubec, Craig Warren and wife, Celeste, of Virginia; one stepdaughter, Minzy Newman and husband, Allen, of Campobello; one grandson, Gavin Jones of Chicago; stepgrandchildren, Kristen, Matthew, Johnathan and Emily Warren of Lubec, Breanna and Teagan Newman of Campobello; aunts, uncles and several cousins; sisters-in-law and spouses, Diane and Robert Tinker of Lubec, Sally and Mac Foss of South Portland, Jean and Danny Quimby of Bucks Harbor and Kathy and Perley Gray of East Machias; special friends, Wayne Wallace, Donny Parker and Wayne Kelly. Raymond will be sadly missed by all of his friends and family, especially his faithful friend, his chocolate lab, Cassie. Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside service 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, at the family cemetery in Trescott. There will be a gathering at the house after the service.
