CORINNA – Rena M. Archer, 65, died unexpectedly Nov. 18, 2004, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born Aug. 2, 1939, at Hartford, Conn., a daughter of Romeo and Marie (Blanchette) Fournier. Her family moved back to Maine when Rena was nine years old. She graduated from Community High School, Class of 1958, in Fort Kent. She also graduated from a certified nurses aide program there in 1974. In 1978, Rena and her family moved to Hartland. She was employed at Sanfield Living Center In Hartland, and Sebasticook Valley Health Care Facility in Pittsfield. She was a Member of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Palmyra. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Elliot Archer of Corinna; a daughter, Michele and husband, Clayton Soule, of Lewiston; three grandchildren, Steven, Taylor and Morgan Soule; several nieces and nephews. A Mass will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Palmyra, with the Rev. Janet McAuley, Vicar, officiating. Burial will follow at Corinna Center Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Rena M. Archer Memorial Fund, St. Martin’s Parish, P.O. Box 107, Palmyra, ME 04965. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, Corinna.
