SULLIVAN – Robert William Thomas, 70, died Dec. 24, 2003, in Ellsworth. He was born Dec. 22, 1933, the son of Robert T. and Laura (Wright) Thomas. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the American Legion, Trenton, and Bar Harbor. He is survived by brothers, Ernest Thomas and his wife, Gladys, of Connecticut, Harvey Thomas and his wife, Mary, of Sullivan; a sister, Mary Perkins and husband, Elias; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. May 13, 2004, at the York Hill Cemetery, Sullivan. Arrangements by the Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth.
