HERMON – Roger E. Pinkham, 88, husband of the late Norma (Miller) Pinkham, died Nov. 4, 2005, at his home. He was born Oct. 28, 1917, in Hermon, the son of Elbridge F. and Clara A. (Overlock) Pinkham. Roger was employed with the B&A Railroad for many years. He also did some farming. Roger and Norma were the owners and operators of Norogala Show Ribbons, which they ran all of their life. He was a member of the Lynde Lodge No. 174 of Hermon; Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Bangor; Maine Consistory 32 degree and Anah Shriners. He was a member and past master of the Golden Harvest Grange of Carmel; past noble grand of Triumph Lodge IOOF of Hermon; and past grand chaplain of the Grand Lodge of Maine IOOF. Surviving are one daughter, Jean C. Pearson of Hermon; one son, Alan R. Pinkham and his wife, Candy, of Hermon; six grandchildren, Danny Pearson and his wife, Rose, Lewis Pearson and his wife, Pat, all of Hermon, Kenny Pearson and his wife, Barbara, of Bradford, Michael Pearson and special friend, Heidi Giles, of Hermon, Emily Fisher and her husband, Jason, of Levant and Carrie Ann Pinkham of Hermon; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Leona Mae Freeman; and a special son-in-law, Daniel A. Pearson Sr. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at Pine Tree Cemetery, Pine Tree Road, Hermon, with the Rev. Garnett Chute, pastor of the Hermon Baptist Church, officiating.
