They were com-mitted to and involved with a number of charitable groups in Winchester, Mass., such as the En Ka Society and the Jenks Center. Mr. Strout was also a life deacon at Winchester Congregational Church. His hometown of Milbridge always held a special place in his heart, and he, Marie and their sons built a home on family property, where they hosted many summer gatherings. Members of Petit Manan Yacht Club, they enjoyed sailing and motoring in their Grady White, but they especially loved entertaining, being with friends and sharing hundreds of tall tales of grow-ing up in this seaside community. They supported Milbridge Historical Society, as well as the town of Milbridge library. Surviving are his wife, Anne Marie (Telfer); and three sons, Jeffrey E. Strout and his wife, Kathleen, of Bangor, Daniel T. Strout and his wife, Joyce, of South Barrington, Ill., and Eric E. Strout of Mercerville, N.J.
