CARIBOU – Peter Albert Jr., 71, died Nov. 14, 2008, in Caribou. He was born Oct. 18, 1937, in Caribou, the son of Peter and Marie (Levesque) Albert Sr. Peter served with the U.S. Army. He was employed at Potato Service for several years and was also a mechanic in the local area. He was a member of Perkins Post No. 136 American Legion, Stockholm and Disabled American Veterans’ Chapter 8, Mapleton. Peter was a loving and devoted husband and father to his family. He married Mary Ellen (Michaud) Albert, June 22, 1963. Surviving, in addition to his wife of Connor, are one son, Darin Albert and his wife, Mary, of Caribou; two daughters, Lorie Albert of Scarborough and Christine Patton and her husband, David, of Connor; four brothers, Maurice Albert, Donald Albert and Gilbert Albert, all of Caribou and Hayes Albert of Rhode Island; three sisters, Mary Soucie of Rhode Island, Kathy Rogalio of New York and Beatrice Levesque of Caribou; eight grandchildren, Charlene, Dannielle, Jarred and Anthony Patton, Ryan James and Jessica Albert, Amber Stabnestle and Trevor Ellis; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Hubert Albert. Friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. with the Rev.
