ASHLAND – Shirley A. (Bonner) Horey, 55, wife of Kelly Horey, died Nov. 16, 2008, at a Bangor hospital, after a brief illness. She was born in Witchita, Texas, and raised in Weymouth, Mass., the daughter of Floyd Bonner and June (Dalton) Mead. In addition to her husband and parents, Shirley is survived by a son, Paul Brooks of California; a brother, Michael Bonner; two sisters, Jill Bonner of Massachusetts and Shannon Sternagle of California; and grandchildren, Ryan, Mia and Chelsea Brooks, all of California.
