ELLSWORTH – Lisa Beth Martin, 47, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 4, 2009, in Deer Isle. She was born March 8, 1961, in Bangor, daughter of Leroy and Jean (Black) Martin. Lisa was a devoted and loving mother to Christopher and Jasmyn. She grew up in Lamoine and lived in the Ells-worth area her entire life. Lisa was a graduate of Ellsworth High School, Class of 1979 and she worked for many years at Jackson Laboratory and Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and was an avid Harry Potter fan. She is survived by her two children, Christopher and Jamyn Snowman; her mother and stepfather, Jean and Richard Richardson; two sisters, Debora MacGown and her husband, Bruce, and Carole Schoppe and her husband, David; one brother, Dale Martin; nieces and nephews, Liza, Ryan, Theresa, Rebecca, Alex and Laura. In addition to her family, she is also survived by many friends. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 215 Main St., Ellsworth, where a funeral service will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9.
