ST. AGATHA – James M. Michaud, 49, passed away peacefully March 12, 2009, with family at his side at Harmony Nursing Home, Houlton. He was born Sept. 25, 1959, in Bridgeport, Conn., the son of Donat “Don” and Mona (Nadeau) Michaud. Jimmy was loved by many and always enjoyed watching TV, playing records, riding his bike and helping the staff at Harmony. Jimmy fought a long battle with renal failure. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Linda and her husband, David Gendreau, of Moore, S.C., and Jennifer and her husband, Christian Maine, of Campton, N.H.; three brothers, Dana and his wife, Clair, of St. Agatha, Dennis and his wife, Bernice, of St. Agatha and Dean and his wife, Shelly, of Phoenix; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family gives a warm and heartfelt thank you to the staff at Harmony Nursing Home. We can’t thank you enough for giving Jimmy that extra special care that was given to him for the past two years. A memorial service is planned for the spring to accommodate the family. Cremation arrangements are made by Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha.
