DIXMONT – Leona A. Bulley, 83, passed away peacefully Aug. 30, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. Leona was born May 9, 1926, in Troy, to the late George and Emma Perkins. Leona is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Parsons and husband, Barry, of Dixmont; two brothers, Merwyn “Bucky” Perkins of Unity, and Anson Perkins and wife, Hariett, of Clinton; one sister, Lilla Jackson of Unity; granddaughter, Kelly Hersey and husband, Phil; great-granddaughter, Kristen Hersey, all of Dixmont; as well as several nieces and nephews. Leona was predeceased by her husband, John L. Bulley; and two brothers, Dennis Perkins and Clarendon Perkins. In keeping with Leona’s wishes, graveside services will be private.
